What you will learn :

The differences between wood (and what wood NOT to use), charcoal briquettes and lump wood charcoal (and also which ones to avoid like the plague!)
-
When and how to use spices / rubs / marinades / basting sauce.
-
Prepare a lovely brunch over briquettes and enjoy the fruits of your labour.

Make your own wood fire and BBQ your lunch over the coals - this incorporates the navigation of heat and time management.
-
How to decide which of the 3 very different meat cuts must go onto the grid first.
-
How to BBQ veggies as a side dish.
-
How to make loaded fries over the coals (yes, cheezy fries without using oil!)
-
The aim is to have all 6 diverse BBQ delights ready at the same time, off your single grid, and then you can sit back and enjoy the scrumptious lunch you have prepared.

Last, but not least, you will make 'something sweet' over the coals.
